  Hey girls....

My name is Emily Jane. I've just got back from holiday in the Caribbean where I had two of Chasing Summer beach wear pieces with me. I absolutely love the leopard print bikini which is called Cancun, it's very comfortable to wear and offers great support on top with the perfect amount of padding in the bikini top. Another fab feature is the rouching on the bottoms which makes them sit well your bum. The metal finishing touches gives the bikini a luxurious look so you stand out on the beach.

My other favourite Chasing Summer piece is the Monaco Swimsuit. It was a great contrast to the Cancun Bikini for a totally different beach outfit. I love the bright orange with the black outline as it gave the suit a very bold look. The feature of the adjustable zip is great for when you want to show that little bit more cleavage! The material has a good quality silky feel to it and holds well in the water while swimming. The cut on the swimsuit is also very flattering which makes this piece a great asset to your swimwear collection.

The Ultimate Bikini Body

Faran Cooper, central London fitness expert and Pilates specialist suggests the best way to burn fat around the belly to create a ‘bikini-ready’ body is to combine HIIT and dynamic Pilates.

High Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT for short, has been scientifically proven as the fastest way to burn adipose fat tissue and increase your metabolic rate. HIIT combines short bursts of high intensity excercises, like squat jumps for example, for up to 1 minute with a short rest period in between.

When clients want fast results, I give them a 30- minute HIIT session with an hour of my dynamic mat Pilates straight after to increase flexibility, strength and to lengthen and tone the body from head to toe.

‘For stronger, leaner abdominal muscles focus on all the muscles in your mid-section, not just the obvious ones. Try a Pilates side plank for 30 seconds then do 5 ‘side-bends’ and then add a few push-ups at the end to really drive those results home. Repeat three to four times on each side for optimum results.’

 By combining both disciplines at least 3x a week, eat a mostly protein/veg diet and cut out sugar and you could easily see results in four weeks. 

Remember ladies, always have a goal in mind that you are trying to work towards to focus your mind during your workouts.

Good Morning Sunshine!

Judging by the rain hammering down on the window as we write this from Chasing Summer HQ, winter still has us firmly in its grip!
We have had it with you winter, we miss you summer! Nothing beats that smell of sun lotion, sand between your toes and the hot sun on your back! Fear not, we have our sights firmly set on some sunshine after seeking out these five breath taking beaches to escape the winter blues.

It’s time to drift off and be greeted by white sands and blue skies……

In first place we have the beautiful beach: Baia do Sancho in Brazil

In second place we have the picturesque Grace Bay, in Turks and Caicos

The dreamy While Flamenco Beach, in Culebra, Puerto Rico is in at third place

The gorgeous Rabbit Beach, in Lampedusa, Italy comes in at number four

And lastly the spectacular Whitehaven Beach, in the Whitsunday Islands in Australia,
